Classical ancient Rome tour including Colosseum, Forum, Palatine & Capitoline Hills and Pantheon
This tour of ancient Rome traces the history of the glorious past of the Eternal City from the beginning to the end.
We will walk through the monumental ruins and imposing buildings to understand the politics, religion and organization of ancient Rome.
This tour covers the Colosseum and a wonderful view of the Palatine Hill.
After the Roman Forum, we will go to the Capitoline Hill to admire the Square designed by Michelangelo. Thi is where a copy of the original 2nd century equestrian statue of Emperor Marcus Aurelius stands. The original is housed in the nearby museum.
Part of the museums is also the Tabularium, a 2,100 year old building. Entering this area we will also enjoy the most spectacular views over the Roman Forum, towards Colosseum and Palatine Hill.
