Our full day Private driver (Gabrielle) and Guide (Francesca) were amazing. The Tour started at the Pier - Ship pick up with Gabrielle sharing his knowledge of the surrounding area on the drive to Rome. Francesca is so knowledgeable and experienced; she offered time to see so much of the sites we wished to visit and even more. The crowds were massive, but her knowledge allowed us to by-pass huge lines with more time to witness the antiquities, Colosseum, Forum, Panthéon, Piazza Navona, Vatican City. We toured the colosseum and underground with Gigi on Wednesday and had a great time. He was so knowledgeable and fun, he really made the tour a highlight for us. I would recommend him to anyone wanting a great tour of Rome!!!--

This was my wife’s and I’s first time in Rome and our first time experiencing a private personal tour with priority entrance. Our tour was on June 8, 2023. This is the way to see the Colosseum and Forum otherwise you really missing out walking around yourself. Our guide was Suzanna Mariani for this fabulous tour of the historic Colosseum and Roman Forum. She is an expert guide with a degree in ancient history. She was absolutely passionate about what she shared and pointed out along the way, in particular she had charts that illustrated what the ruins looked like when they were truly standing which brought the ruins to life. We had the fabulous chef Marco who gave us an introduction to the neighborhood, including traditional food. He was also awesome in accommodating two vegetarians in our group. Once we arrived in the cooking school, we all had the best time deciding and implementing a favorite meal. We chose pasta carbonara (1/2 vegetarian and the other 1/2 with the traditional pork cheeks). Marco was fun, easy to be with and extremely patient. We ended the cooking with a lovely sit down in an intimate dining area with two kinds of wine. Marco even went the extra mile, giving special attention to a budding chef in our group. What a perfect experience! It was our favorite activity while in Rome.
