Perfect the art of traditional Italian cuisine on our Cooking with Nonna: Gnocchi, Meatballs and Biscotti class! Ask any Italian to describe their favorite food is and chances are they’ll qualify their answer with “della nonna” (the way my grandmother used to make it). This special cooking class offers you the chance to create traditional Italian recipes with a real Italian nonna.

In your Cooking with Nonna class, you’ll master the art of making three specialities: gnocchi, meatballs and biscotti. At the end of this course, you’ll have the chance to dine on what you’ve made with a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Arrive at the school for an antipasti and prosecco reception

Your Cooking with Nonna class takes place in of our two centrally situated cooking schools. The first is a 17th-century palazzo around the corner from Piazza Navona; the second a sleek, stylish school a stone’s throw from the Pantheon. When you arrive, your chef will greet you for a reception of prosecco, soft drinks and homemade snacks. Then we’ll get down to the fun part!

Under the friendly, experienced guidance of nonna, you and the others will get to work crafting the gnocchi dough, rolling it out, assembling your meatballs and creating your Italian biscotti. By the end of the course, you will be the master of the kitchen – equipped with all the know-how you need to become the master of dinner parties.

Of course, cooking these delicious dishes is only half the fun! At the end of your class, you and your fellow veterans of the kitchen will get the chance to dine on what you’ve made in our stunning dining room. We’ll provide a selection of fine local wines, beers and soft drinks to accompany your three-course meals while you exchange stories and conversation with the other guests.
